John is really good at noticing animals along the way; he gave me a heads-up just in time to snap this one of these black-tailed deer on the side of the road. We have seen many deer, turkeys, geese, and other wildlife so far.

In this pic, you can clearly see the ICE... it looks like the waves have frozen in place...although they really just built up over time as waves hit frozen areas.... still really cool-looking...
