Family n Friends

Well, Saturday, Helen and Shannon hosted a little luncheon for us over at MaMaw n PaPaw's...was really nice to get together to just sit n visit before leaving MS. Sat down with Maddy n Shannon to go through med trays so they can take over med tray set up for us. Afterwards, they stopped by our house to take a few things we don't need anymore.  It was then that this goodbye became pretty real :(

On Monday, Lacrica, Ken, & Laura brought the kart trailer up to pick up the washer and dryer and dining room table they bought. Two of my favorite possessions...  Hugs and chitchat... I tried really hard not to cry... :(

Melinda Wells came by the office and brought me a charm for my pandora bracelet. She gave me Change of Season....  So very appropriate...

The next day, Sherry Chrestman gave me another charm.... Journey...perfect

For such an epic journey.,.

My girls, Leah & Misty, also got some charms to remember them by...one charm is the Mississippi River boat to help remind me of life before Alaska:) and the other is engraved with "you only live once" to help remind us to build memories and have fun:) 

As we ended my last workday, Wednesday, 4/17, Leah told me that her daughter told her when they got up that today was her  last day to work with Mrs. Jenni.  Leah asked how she knew that... Khala said "cuz I wrote it in my calendar."  Bless her lil  heart :)

Wednesday evening, Kyle Armstrong invited us to Guy's Fish House for dinner...  While we were there eating, out neighbors came in and joined us. Marsha and Steven Marquerdt sat down at the next table; Steven said that Pearce told them they HAD to go eat with Mr. John.  LOL :) we had a great time visiting good friends and we will miss many:)
