Oh the Joys of Preparation...

So, John and I are packing, cleaning, and preparing for our giant estate sale on Saturday.  We have NEVER undertaken such a massive task in all our years.  We have really enjoyed traveling down memory lane as we have cleaned out and packed up nearly 30 years of married memories.  An extra special memory was finding a hand-written note from my Mama to my daughter....  I had no idea we even had such a note; will be putting it in the mail to Sarah...

Now, on another note.... this blogging is QUITE a massive task in & of itself....so you will have to pardon the errors, duplications, omissions, and such.  I THOUGHT I was a pretty good computer/software user and "figure-outer" so to speak.... but I worked for over an HOUR trying to post this 1 dang picture... Hopefully, I will learn some shortcuts and figure out where my pics are hiding!!! LOL

Saturday is our big sale.  We are selling out nearly everything or at least some of everything we own.  Dishes, glasses, cooking utensils/tools, decorations, Christmas items, fabrics, thread, patterns, shelves, beds, furniture, you name it... The only real furniture we are keeping is my GORGEOUS bedroom suite that John & kids got me about 10 - 12 years ago.  Sarah asked for our buffet that her Papaw refinished and put back together years ago.  It has been in nearly all our homes through the years, and she wanted to have some "family" furniture.

Probably the saddest part of moving is leaving John's parents... Mamaw and Papaw are so special to us; we will be back to visit them.... but in the meantime, we are leaving our Copper, a nearly 9 year old chocolate lab, to keep an eye on them.  Copper's favorite thing to do is chase a dang toy tire.... and Papaw will throw it for her; she LOVES her Papaw.  I think it will do them both some good to have each other.

Well, thanks for stopping by...  we'll have to visit again soon.  If our names cross your minds over the next 3-4 weeks, please be assured it is the Holy Spirit prompting you to pray for us!!!  And we will GREATLY appreciate all you utter.....  Happy Trails....
