Day 10: MORE of Canada....

 Wooden lumberjack...
Thankful for a sunny day..... so far...
Learning some "radio lingo" along the way....Even Hydie and Carter learned to use the radios...

At first, when we saw these triangles, I thought they were snares..... haha... turned out to be gas line locations...

Stunning views... winding roads...

We had a HARD time finding radio stations once we got up into Canada.... I found a couple on the AM dial... LOL  definitely NOT the typical American channels we were used to. :)

 Sasquatch crossing...

Steep grades.... we learned to use our lower gears on this trip!!! LOL

Little towns along the Al-Can just pop up anywhere...

Entering the Peace River area in Canada...

and the snow began to fall.... temps ranged from 25 - 35 degrees F.  But the radio stations were giving out weather reports using 0 or -2..... LOL  It took us a few minutes to realize the temps were in Celsius....

I was surprised at the number of RV parks all along the way.... many were not open, of course.... most are only open from May - September.

Rough patch of construction on the Al-Can.... even had a redlight to manage traffic...

We could tell it was "break-up season" along the way; many waterways, lakes, creeks, & ponds were iced completely over, or had thawed somewhat....

This map is of British Columbia, carved and painted in wood... very cool... Located at a lodge near Liard River.
Bryson LOVES ice cream..... LOL
